''Start of a Romance'' is a 1989 album by the New York-based R&B/soul band Skyy. After a three-year hiatus from the charts, the group appeared to have already passed their peak. However, this album became a major comeback success for the group, featuring two number 1 R&B singles, the title track ("Start of a Romance") and "Real Love." "Real Love" also returned Skyy to the pop charts, where it became a top-50 hit. An additional single, released between the two abovementioned tunes, "Love All the Way" also became a top-50 R&B hit. The album itself peaked at #16 on the R&B album charts, Skyy's highest placement in this domain since their most successful album, ''Skyy Line'' topped the chart in 1982. It also peaked at #155 on the pop album charts. ==Tracklisting== #"Start of a Romance" (Tommy McConnell, Joe Williams) (4:48) #"Love All the Way" (Randy Muller) (4:36) #"Sendin' a Message" (Randy Muller) (5:00) #"Sexy Minded" (Tommy McConnell, Maurice Wingate) (5:25) 〔(Skyy- ''Start of a Romance'' album images @Discogs.com ) Retrieved 3-17-2012.〕 #"Feelin' it Now" (Tommy McConnell, Joe Williams) (4:33) #"Real Love" (Solomon Roberts, Jr.)〔(Skyy- "Real Love" song description @AllMusic.com ) Retrieved 3-17-2012.〕 (5:11) #"Let's Touch" (Randy Muller) (5:25) #"Groove Me" (Randy Muller) (4:16) #"Sunshine" (Randy Muller) (4:29) 〔(Skyy- ''Start of a Romance'' @Discogs.com ) Retrieved 3-17-2012.〕 〔Skyy- ''Start of a Romance'' record "label."
